キン肉万太郎

Mantaro Kinniku (キン肉(にく)万(まん)太(た)郎(ろう), Kinniku Mantaro) is the main character in Kinnikuman Nisei. He is known in the English dub (and VIZ manga) as Kid Muscle or Mantaro Kinnikuman (Mantaro Muscle in the VIZ manga).

テリー・ザ・キッド

Terry the Kid (テリー・ザ・キッド, Terī za Kiddo) is son of Terryman and Natsuko Shono. He initially hates Mantaro and his father, Kinnikuman, before becoming his friend.

キン肉スグル

Suguru Kinniku (キン肉(にく)スグル, Suguru Kinniku), or better known as Kinnikuman (キン肉(にく)マン), is the prince, and later king, of Planet Kinniku. He's the two-time winner of the Chojin Olympics and the father of Mantaro Kinniku.

アシュラマン

Ashuraman (アシュラマン, Ashuraman) is a head chief of the Six Devil Knights, who had become a Justice Chojin— but reinstated himself back to the Devil Knights in Kinnikuman (2011). He then returned to his evil ways in Kinnikuman Nisei, becoming one of the Demon Seed.

チェックメイト

Check Mate is trained by Sunshine, in which he is expected to take revenge on the New Generations. He is impervious to pain, but can still be injured and harmed, and has the ability to change form according to button presses on his chess-piece shoulder-pads.

恵子

Keiko (恵子) is the best friend of Rinko Nikaido and Tamaki Maekawa. She often appears on the side-lines of matches offering support.

キン肉ビビンバ

Bibimba is a popular female character.She serves as a firm supporter of Kinnikuman, as well as part of an initial love-triangle with Mari Nikaido in the manga, and later she becomes wife to Kinnikuman and mother to Mantaro. In the manga, she ages into a strict and firm mother, but this is later retconned and her image and personality become more similar to her anime (Kinnikuman Nisei) counterpart. In the anime, she was always depicted as a loving and gentle mother.

テルテル・ボーイ

A walking, talking cell-phone from Hong Kong. He killed an American pro-wrestler named Voyager at an all-Japan Pro Wrestling match with Slicing Antennae. He challenged Mantaro to a 4:44:44 deathmatch at the Nippon Budokan. During his match against Mantaro, rain short-circuited him and his phone lines disconnected; this resulted in Mantaro's victory.

セイウチン

A walrus Chojin (seiuchi is Japanese for walrus), Seiuchin is the friendlier and easy-going member of the New Generation. He greatly admires Kinniku Mantaro, and in many ways is a lot like him, the two of them always being hungry and seen eating food all the time (Seiuchin is usually seen carrying around a big fish). He is the Number 2 student of the Hercules Factory First Years and has a lot of heart and spirit, but his kind and gentle personality wan lead to weaknesses in the ring. He is originally assigned to defend Hokkaido, an area in Japan best fitted for Seiuchin's environment.

マックスマン

The grandson of Sneagator, who was an older-generation of Devil Chojin that was defeated by Kinnikuman. He can transform into a sneaker at will. Kinniku Mantaro fights him after he beats up Seiuchin, which happens after Mantaro's match against Tel-Tel Boy at the Nippon Budokan. During the fight, Mantaro figures out that a shoe's worst enemy is faeces; this used to defeat MAXman.
