Akira Asai

Akira Asai (朝 (アサ) 井 (イ) アキラ, Asai Akira) is a middle school student and a childhood friend of Kou Yamori and Mahiru Seki. A dedicated follower of authority, Akira does everything expected from a good student despite her utter lack of enthusiasm. Recently, Akira started to develop insomnia due to her life feeling unsatisfying because of her lack of human connection, both at school and at home, and started waking up at 4 AM and going to school early. After her friend was rejected when she confessed to Kou as per Akira's suggestion, Kou began skipping school to roam around at night. Not long after the first time, Akira came across him and met Nazuna Nanakusa, a vampire.
