Arale Norimaki

Arale Norimaki (則巻アラレ Norimaki Arare) is the main protagonist of the Dr. Slump series. She is an android built by Senbei Norimaki. She is known for her innocent, energetic personality, lack of common sense, and unbelievably superhuman strength. Ironically, she is highly nearsighted and needs to wear glasses. Senbei's goal in creating her was to build the perfect humanoid robot and challenged her to keep her true nature a secret. Despite her incredible strength and constant removal of her own head, the rest of Penguin Village seems to accept as just a very strange, very strong girl.
