Chikage Kazama

Kazama is a fictional character who does not have a historical counterpart. He is introduced in the anime storyline during the Ikedaya Incident, when he defeats Okita, but his actual sworn enemy is Hijikata, as the two continue encountering each other in various settings. Kazama is often followed by his vassal Amagiri and sometimes joins forces with Shiranui, who has his own agenda but does not mind participating in Kazama's plans. Kazama's main goal is to marry Chizuru, as she is a female pure-blooded demon who can give birth to powerful offspring.
