Maruko Maruko

Maruko(丸子マルコ), is a major character in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, who is a robot. She is first introduced during a message delivery by Kokone, where she acts very confident and human-like. She works as a picture frame deliverer but has a dream of one day becoming a painter. To this end, she requests for her friend Nai, to send her photographs of his travels. She has a more independent mindset compared to the other robots and seems to have left her owner of her own volition, even changing her family name to Maruko as well. She at first isn't so accepting of Alpha and her laid back lifestyle, but later grows to appreciate her work.
