Alpha is a fair skinned young woman with violet eyes. She has mid-length green hair often styled in a ponytail held by a pink ribbon.

鷹津ココネ

The clothing Kokone is seen most in is her debut outfit which she seems to wear when travelling long distances to deliver messages. On her head she wears a cream coloured pith hat. While on her torso she is in a yellow turned-down collared shirt paired with a mini blue (cream in the anime) tie that holds a spherical blue brooch. On top of this she wears a strapped blue dress which goes down just below her knees held by a belt around her waist with a cropped white jacket over it. Finally, on her feet she styles a pair of high heeled boots which go up to her calves.

真月

Matsuki/Makki(真月), is a major character in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, and is the childhood friend Takahiro, she appears throughout the series and is often seen either playing near the beach or around Takahiro. She had a 'bratty' personality and is at first quite timid around Alpha. She is very in touch with nature and spends the majority of her free time outside. Takahiro treats her like his little sister throughout their childhood.

タカヒロ

Takahiro (タカヒロ) a is a major supporting character of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. He is the grandson of Ojisan and lives with him in a town near Café Alpha. He is one of the first characters whom we see getting close to Alpha, and quickly becomes a regular customer of the cafe. He is also childhood friends with Makki, who is the only other youth that lives in the area. He and Alpha grow to have a sort of sibling relationship throughout the series.

丸子マルコ

Maruko(丸子マルコ), is a major character in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, who is a robot. She is first introduced during a message delivery by Kokone, where she acts very confident and human-like. She works as a picture frame deliverer but has a dream of one day becoming a painter. To this end, she requests for her friend Nai, to send her photographs of his travels. She has a more independent mindset compared to the other robots and seems to have left her owner of her own volition, even changing her family name to Maruko as well. She at first isn't so accepting of Alpha and her laid back lifestyle, but later grows to appreciate her work.
