At the Kanto Bouldering Championship, she manages to pass the prelims and finishes seventh in the semifinals, failing to reach the finals. Seeing that her captain, Masumi Fujita, disappointed at herself for getting fifth place, Rina and the rest of the team support Masumi, who then comes out and wins the championship.
