Sakiya Menes

Theo is Sakiya's childhood friend who he had bonded with over books. Due to her father not wanting people from the slums in the library Sakiya would sneak Theo in when he wasn't around and they would read together. As they grew older she started developing feelings for him but he was oblivious of this. When the results of Theo's Kafna test arrived she secretly hoped that he had failed so that he would remain in the village and perhaps work at the library with her and always be by her side forever. She later feels bad about having such thoughts and tearfully sends him off and asks him not to forget about her.
