Shin Sugisaki

Shin Sugisaki (杉崎真) is Kyō Tōno's friend who helps Honoka Sawada out in raising Mao as a substitute father role. He can be stubborn at times, but he cares about both Mao-chan and Honoka. He seems to have a romantic feelings for Honoka, but it's still unknown, though in Episode 17, he got mad when Honoka told him that she is trying not rely on him anymore, prompting him to tell her that if she didn't rely on him he would get lonely. He is 15 year old. Mao-chan asked why both his father and mother never kissed (Honoka and Shin) they didn’t know what to say but Mao-chan got hungry which made them feel relieved.
