MAINWhen Mao-chan was younger, he wore a blue onesie/jumpsuit and a yellow baby bib with his name in English on the front of the bib. When he gets a bit older he wears blue pants, a red and white boating shirt, and various hats of his choice. His casual costume is an elephant costume. Mao-chan has very smooth pink hair (a combination of the white hair of his devil father and the crimson red hair of his devil mother) and also has a devil tail coming out of his lower back and devil wings coming out of his head. He also wears a kawaii little dragon costume which lets him breathe fire.

MAINHonoka Sawada(chibi devil)(沢田 ほのか Sawada Honoka) is a fourteen-year-old girl in middle school who lost her parents when she was younger. She is often taken advantage of by her classmates and is always lonely. That is, until the day Mao comes into her life and Shin Sugisaki became Mao father figure, falling in love with him.
杉崎真
MAINShin Sugisaki (杉崎真) is Kyō Tōno's friend who helps Honoka Sawada out in raising Mao as a substitute father role. He can be stubborn at times, but he cares about both Mao-chan and Honoka. He seems to have a romantic feelings for Honoka, but it's still unknown, though in Episode 17, he got mad when Honoka told him that she is trying not rely on him anymore, prompting him to tell her that if she didn't rely on him he would get lonely. He is 15 year old. Mao-chan asked why both his father and mother never kissed (Honoka and Shin) they didn’t know what to say but Mao-chan got hungry which made them feel relieved.
園長先生
MAINPrincipal is the principal one of the Chibi Devi Nursery. He is always seen wearing thick glasses and has a grey moustache, although it's unclear if these are false. He is an apparent expert on baby devils and has written an encyclopaedia on them which he gives a copy of to Honoka when Mao first starts at the nursery. The devil children love to practice their magic on him.
