Sorae Igarashi

Sorae Igarashi (五十嵐 そらえ Igarashi Sorae) was a doctor and the mother of Ganta Igarashi who was involved in the development of the Wretched Egg as well as the Mother Goose System. She died by committing suicide as she couldn't bear the guilt of turning Shiro into a monster. In the anime, Ganta explains that ten years before being imprisoned in Deadman Wonderland, his mother had died.
