Toshio Ozaki

Toshio Ozaki is one of the three main protagonists of Shiki. He is the head doctor of the Ozaki Clinic in Sotoba. He is a childhood friend of Seishin Muroi, the junior monk. At first, the two of them worked together on investigating the outbreak of bizarre deaths and discovered that a race of Shiki are ones behind events. After experimenting and killing his own wife Kyoko as a Shiki, Toshio informed Seishin that he will hunt down the Shiki to prevent the expansion, which shattered their friendship. When the Shiki were exposed to the entire village, Toshio and the people almost killed all the Shiki and did their best, before Sotoba went in flames by Motoko Maeda.
