Yasuoka

Yasuoka (安岡) is a dirty detective. He was looking for a gang-related chicken run survivor, which led him to the mahjong parlor. He was one of the first people to realize Akagi's talents in mahjong, and takes advantage of his skills to great personal gain. He later presents Fake Akagi to the Kawada group as the real Akagi; making use of his name. In the manga, he also plays the role of the narrator.
