He was a student at Daiba High School in class 2-A along with his twin brother Yami Kanda. After falling into Tokyo Underworld, he's known as The Special Grade Felon due to his rank as a special grade and was also the vice commander of the guilty army during the Honnoji Temple Hell. Some time later it is revealed that Yomi is an executioner named Tsukuyomi (つくよみ, Tsukuyomi).
