Black Summoner

ケルヴィン

Kelvin Celsius is the main protagonist of Kuro no Shoukanshi (Black Summoner). Having died on Earth, the goddess Melfina used her Reincarnation Magic to grant him numerous skills, allowing him to become an S Rank Summoner. Spending time in the new world, as both his power and connections expanded, so too did his family and the number of his followers. In time, he eventually became an incredibly powerful S Rank Adventurer known as the “Grim Reaper”, recognized for wielding his staff-turned-scythe in combat, an all-black attire, and an insatiable lust for combat. His base is in Parth on the Eastern Continent, and following the battle in the Warrior Kingdom of Trycen and having killed the reigning Demon Lord, Kelvin evolved from a human to a Daemon.

エフィル

Despite her breathtaking beauty — a byproduct of her elven blood — she had been a slave since her earliest memories. Furthermore, she's been shunned by slave traders and potential customers for being afflicted with the Curse of the Flame Dragon King, which caused anything she touched burst into flames.

When the previous Hero, Serge Flore, invaded their castle, her father sealed her in a time-stasis spell and teleported her away to keep her safe, assigning Viktor to oversee and protect her. After Kelvin and his party defeated Viktor, Viktor entrusted her care to him, which is what leads to Sera joining Kelvin's party at the end of Vol 1 of the LN (and the end of Vol 2 of the manga).

メルフィーナ

Currently, she is borrowing an artificial body to stay with Kelvin and his group. The body she is borrowing belongs to a 17-year-old girl, while she herself is 1276 years old. Her stats are set up to be reflective of Kelvin's stats; the value for each is the average of all Kelvin's stats after the buffs from any stat-raising skills are accounted for. This is the effect of her Unique Skill, Sympathetic Resonance. Not only are her stats attuned to Kelvin's, but so are her level and skill points. If Kelvin picks up a buff or a debuff, it affects her equally; consequently, if she acquires a stat-boosting skill like Herculean Strength, it would be entirely meaningless. Similarly, she does not receive the stat buffs from Kelvin's Summoning skill.

ジェラール

As an armor-type monster, he is a hollow suit of armor. However, after he obtained the Materialization skill, he's become capable of materializing a body. Even so, he never takes his armor off, and there is no mention of anyone seeing his face, which means that he somehow drinks and eats through the bars of his helmet. He loves drinking (he has been described as downing fire spirits).

リオン

Not much was known about Rion other than the fact that she was bedridden due to her medical condition in her previous life. After being summoned, she began to show immense gratitude to Kelvin for giving her a second chance to enjoy the life she previously could not experience. She has a contract with a Shadow Wolf named Alex and loves Kelvin to the point that she eventually became known as his younger half-sister, serving as a cover story to keep her summoning as a hero a secret from the rest of the world. She was born on the 26th of March.
