Captain Earth

夢塔ハナ

Hana Mutou (夢塔 ハナ, Mutō Hana, Hana Mutou) is a young girl who appears to be 17 years old, but her true age is unknown. She is the main female protagonist of Captain Earth. She appears to have a crush on the main character, Daichi Manatsu, and doesn't seem to be all entirely human. Hana was originally of the Royal Family of the Planetary Gears, known as the "Princess of Blume".

夜祭アカリ

Akari has short orange hair with two purple hair clips and one green clip on her left. She also has purple eyes, lightly tanned skin and a slender build. Her casual clothes include a yellow tank top with white straps and white buttons that is slightly too short a shirt for her, exposing an inch of her bare midriff. She also wears green shorts with a pink belt and white and yellow wedges with a yellow bow and white and red bangles.

真夏ダイチ

Daichi Manatsu (真夏 ダイチ, Manatsu Daichi) is the main protagonist of the Captain Earth television series. He is the son of Taiyou Manatsu and the pilot of the Earth Engine who is the first human to use a Livlaster.

嵐テッペイ

Teppei is a 17-year-old boy who harbors powers beyond those of humans, as well as a sense of alienation. He met a young Daichi Manatsu on Tanegashima, four months prior to Daichi's father's "accident" and became friends. He wore / kept a blue necklace from Daichi because of a game that they made: if one impresses the other, they must return the necklace. Teppei rarely smiles at anyone and seemed happy when Daichi wasn't afraid of his weird powers.

モコ

Moco (モコ, Moko) is the human avatar of the Kiltgang Malkin and a member of the Planetary Gears. She is one of the main antagonists, co-leading the Planetary Gears alongside Amara.

アマラ

Amara (アマラ, Amara, Amara) is the Designer Child that is the avatar of the Kiltgang Amarok. He is the first of the Planetary Gears to awaken and leads them until Setsuna's awakening into Siren. He is one of the series main antagonists.

アイ

Ai (アイ, Ai, Ai) is the Designer Child that plays host to the Planetary Gear known as Aiatar. Ai is a popular idol. She is the fifth member to be introduced and the 5th to reawaken.

夜祭ツバキ

Tsubaki Yomatsuri (夜祭 ツバキ, Yomatsuri Tsubaki, Tsubaki Yomatsuri) is the head of the Tenkaido. She is Akari's mother and Tsutomu's ex-wife.
