クレア

Clare (クレア Kurea) is a female Claymore and the Organization's No. 47 of the 150th generation. She is the main protagonist of the series. She is the only known Claymore to have taken the flesh and blood of a fellow Claymore rather than that of a Yoma, making her 1/4 Yoma as opposed to 1/2 Yoma like most other warriors. This was allowed as an experiment to create a stronger warrior. However, the experiment was considered a failure as Claire was seemingly weak; she was subsequently assigned the lowest rank of No. 47. Despite this, through both her own efforts and the help of others, Clare eventually attained a significant level of power and became one of the first partially Awakened Beings.

ミリア

Miria was Claymore No. 6 of the 127th generation in the Organization, and currently the deuteragonist of the series. Her ability to move at frightening speeds, leaving ghost-like after-images of herself, earned her the title "Phantom Miria" (幻影のミリア, Gen'ei no Miria) and the reputation as one of the fastest warriors of her generation.

ヘレン

Helen was Claymore No. 22 of the 135th generation in the Organization, and one of the main characters. Helen is often hot tempered and aggressive, humorous and rebellious at times who can appear to be a troublemaker, as Deneve notes. She seems to have a large appetite (for a Claymore at least) and can often be seen eating an apple. She's also the only Claymore seen eating and drinking for pleasure.

ラキ

Raki (ラキ, Raki) is a human whose family was eaten by a Yoma and was saved by Clare. He was allowed to travel with her after this happened, and become very close to her, wishing to fight with and protect her as she had done with him. After the seven-year time skip, he was reunited with Clare and became one of the Ghosts.

デネヴ

Deneve was Claymore No. 15 of the 135th generation in the Organization and one of the main characters. Though she has partially Awakened, she succeeded in reverting to her normal state. She possesses a calm and understanding yet serious personality, but can be a perfectionist. Her regeneration ability is superb, even for a defensive fighter, and her skills are unique. Deneve was a standard one Claymore warrior until her captain in the northern campaign, Undine perished and she took up one of her two Claymores in honor of her.

リフル

Riful was an unranked warrior of Isley's generation (the first generation) and Claymore No. 1 of the first all-female generation. She was the youngest warrior in the Organization's annals to reach the pinnacle of her abilities and Awaken. She then became the Abyssal One of the West, also known as "Riful of the West" and "Empress Riful." She lived in the western region of Lautrec with her consort, Dauf.

カサンドラ

Cassandra was Claymore No. 1 during her generation and is one of the eight most powerful No. 1 Claymores of all time. During her lifetime, she became known as "Cassandra the Dust Eater" (塵食いのカサンドラ, Chiri-gui no Kasandora), a nickname given to her by Roxanne to describe her unique fighting style.

ミアータ

Miata was Claymore No. 4 of the last generation of warriors. She is known as "Blood Eye" by her peers, and her skills lie mainly in her keen senses and monstrous brute strength. Despite only being a child, she possesses power comparable to that of previous No. 1's, and would have been ranked higher if it wasn't for her mental instability. She is reminiscent of Priscilla, as both were children of high ranking within the Organization with strong attachments to their parents and fragile psyches.

アリシア

Her identical twin sister, Beth, was No. 2. Alicia was a new type of Claymore, and wore a special black uniform, earning her the nickname "Alicia the Black" (黒のアリシア, Kuro no Arishia).
