ルルーシュ・ランペルージ

Lelouch vi Britannia (ルルーシュ・ヴィ・ブリタニア Rurūshu vi Buritania) is the main protagonist of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 and plays a supporting role in side stories like Code Geass: Oz the Reflection and Code Geass: Lancelot & Guren. After he was exiled, he used the alias Lelouch Lamperouge (ルルーシュ・ランペルージ, Rurūshu Ranperūji). He was the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire and the son of the 98th Emperor of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia. He was also the leader and founder of The Black Knights and the real identity of Zero.

シー･ツー

Her Japanese voice actress is Yukana while she is voiced by Kate Higgins in the English dub. C.C. is not her real name; she involuntarily reveals her real name to Lelouch in her sleep, but it is muted so the viewers cannot hear it.

枢木スザク

He is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, while his child self is voiced by Akeno Watanabe. He is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in the English dub, and his child self is voiced by Laura Bailey. In the 29th Anime Grand Prix, he was placed sixth with 143 votes, then 19th and 13th, respectively, in the following two.

ヴイ・ツー

Due to his immortality, V.V. is has not physically aged beyond the body of a young boy, leaving him with a very short stature and an eternally youthful appearance. Due to being a young boy, he has a small nose, thin eyebrows, a fair face, and a slender body. Unlike his twin brother, he was born with light blond hair that he always kept combed back, revealing a large forehead. In his childhood, his hair almost reached his shoulders, but after he got his Code of Immortality and became immortal, his hair was allowed to grow until it cascaded to the ground at his feet. Once his hair is no longer combed back, it's revealed that he resembles a younger Charles, owing to the fact that they are fraternal twins.

ロロ・ランペルージ

Rolo has brown hair and violet eyes. He usually wears the Ashford Academy uniform. His Knightmare pilot suit is turquoise surmounted of shoulder-strap with dark turquoise shade.

皇神楽耶

She wears a pink-ish blouse that has detached sleeves along with a red miniskirt. In the second season, she often wears a long pink dress with red details.

シュナイゼル・エル・ブリタニア

Charismatic and manipulative, cunning and ruthless, Schneizel is widely regarded as Lelouch's greatest adversary, including Lelouch himself, and the Prime Minister serves as one of the primary antagonists of the series, particularly in R2 due to him becoming the final antagonist of the Second Season.

水無瀬むつき

Minase is one of three volunteers along with Ichijiku Hinata and Ayame Futaba to join the Black Knights to serve as an operator. She was present during Viceroy Nunnally's Special Administrative Zone where one million Zeros were exiled from Japan. After being exiled, she appears inside the Ikaruga. She is present during the battles that ensue in the Chinese Federation, the Tokyo Settlement, and Mt. Fuji. She is last seen in a photo of Kaname Ohgi and Villetta Nu's wedding.

草壁

Kusakabe make a brief first appearance along with the other members of the Japan Liberation Front. He asks if the JLF should attempt to rescue Suzaku Kururugi who was falsely accused for the murder of Clovis La Britannia. However, Zero appears and saves Kururugi shocking Kusakabe as well as the other members of the JLF. Kusakabe later appears during the Japanese Liberation Front Hotel Incident as the one who planned the Hotel Jack Incident by himself without the authorization of General Katase or the other high-ranking members of the JLF. Kusakabe, backed by a detatchment of JLF members, takes all the Britannians in the hotel hostage and announces that he will free everyone as long as Britannia meets his terms. There are several people who are watching such as The Black Knights, who question this action, as well as Tohdoh, who outright calls Kusakabe a fool. The Britannians try every possible way to save the hostages without giving in or revealing the fact that Euphemia Li Britannia is one of said hostages. After Zero appears and is allowed clearance to go through the Britannian Army, Kusakabe agrees to negotiate with him.

高亥

Gao Hai makes his first appearance as the Federation's consul to Area 11. Gao Hai arrives at Area 11 with Li Xingke as his bodyguard. Greeting him on their arrival is the new Viceroy of Area 11, Calares, who has a large security force with him in order to allow the Chinese Federation a better understanding of the Britannians. However, Xingke is asked to release his weapon who instead cuts the belts of two Britannians causing Gao Hai to tell him that his actions were rude. Xingke apologizes and responds by stating that he wanted the Britannians to have a better understanding of the Chinese Federation. Their meeting is interrupted as an explosion was seen from Babel Tower.
