MAINOriginally Keiki gave basketball up despite his promise with Hanabi Tachibana, thinking that he couldn't reach the same success as her and that she already forgot or is dating someone else. He saw her as a flame that attracts bugs due to the light, something all prodigies do. When visiting Kuchikusa High, Keiki ran into Akane Natsu who asked Keiki to join the team every day. When learning that Hanabi still holds onto their promise, Keiki started to play again and got lured in by Akane's fire.
