鹿島虎太郎

Kotaro has short, light-colored hair and a sleepy look on his face. Occasionally, his eyes sparkle whenever he's excited or happy about seeing his brother or something intriguing like hatching chicks. Like the other kids in the daycare, his cheeks appear to blush whenever he's curious or about to burst into tears.

狼谷隼

Hayato is tall and considered handsome by the girls in his class. He has short black hair and narrow eyes with light green irises, features he inherited from his mother, Shizuka. He is impassive and normally has a deadpan expression, conveying a stern and fierce expression only when he has strong feelings, especially when angry at his younger brother Taka.

Ryuuichi Kashima is the protagonist of the Gakuen Babysitters series. He is dearly loved by his younger brother, Kotaro and the kids in the daycare.

森ノ宮羊子

Youko Morinomiya is the wealthy and abrasive chairwoman of Morinomiya Academy and is the offered guardian of the Kashima brothers. She is called "obaa-san" (grandmother) by Ryuuichi and "Fluffy" by Kotaro.

狼谷鷹

Taka Kamitani is one of the children at the Morinomiya Babysitting Club. He is the younger brother of Hayato and the son of Shizuka Kamitani—a science teacher at Morinomiya Academy's middle school.

狸塚数馬

Kazuma has blonde, unkempt hair and light brown teary eyes. He is generally seen as the "cry baby" of the bunch and is seen with rosy pink cheeks. He is the identical twin of Takuma and is always seen holding his hand or following him around. While his older brother is known for sharing an "eye smile" with their mother, Kazuma's perpetually watery eyes bear resemblance to his emotional father's when he cries.

Maria is a beautiful teenage girl with mid-back length dark forest green hair that has bangs hanging on the left side and gray colored eyes. Like in the manga, she maintains her tsundere personality and her face slightly blushes at her cheeks whenever she becomes embarrassed.

犬井博幸

He is tall and has red, messy hair. He is only ever seen wearing the school uniform with his tie worn loose. On occasions when he helps Kotaro in secret, he wears a paper bag over his head that says, "Helper Mask".
