Before being recruited by Kosei Goto to coach ETU, Tatsumi spent the past 3 seasons as the Manager for FC Eastham, an English Division 5 amateur club. During his final season with FC Eastham, he managed to lead them to the 4th round of the FA Cup, losing to Premier League club FC Portsmouth due to a controversial goal despite being clearly offside.

Of half-Japanese and half-Italian descent, he is known as the "Prince" among ETU teammates not just because he forced them to but also due to his ingenious play-making ability and his narcissistic attitude. He is also called "Gino", which is the name on his jersey.

Daisuke Tsubaki (椿 大介, Tsubaki Daisuke) is a Central Midfielder for East Tokyo United, although he can also play as a Full-Back.

Murakoshi joined ETU as a promising talent in the hopes of playing with then-ETU star Takeshi Tatsumi, but his dreams were crushed when Tatsumi left for Europe the following season.

Zelberto is a brazilian player. He is a midfielder of the brazilian trio, like Carlos. He is the spoke person of the trio And is often seen scolding Carlos and Pepe for their actions even though he, sometime, joins them too.

Under ETU's manager Takeshi Tatsumi, Hotta lost his spot as a regular on the starting XI to Daisuke Tsubaki. After playing a few matches as a substitute, Hotta started his first match at his usual position during ETU's 13th League match against Kawasaki Frontier, when he replaced then-captain Shigeyuki Murakoshi in the starting XI, the latter being suspended due to yellow card accumulation. Manager Takeshi Tatsumi selected Hotta as one of the starters since the latter managed to show that he cared about ETU during the Curry Party that Manager Tatsumi had ETU hold for the club and its fans.

During Takeshi Tatsumi's 1st day as ETU's manager, Miyano has been one of the 10 best performers at the 45-minute, 30-meter dashes' test set by Tatsumi and was subsequently selected, alongside Daisuke Tsubaki, Ryo Akasaki, Kazumi Kiyokawa, Kyohei Sera, Shingo Yano, Osamu Ishihama, Kobayashi, Takeshi Kamei, and Hiroi, as part of Team Tatsumi in a scrimmage that the latter organized against the veteran players.

Fuwa was the coach under whose control ETU was dropped from the first division to the second division. He dislikes the ETU management and believes that the management of ETU is inadequate, blaming them for ETU's poor track record. He pities Tatsumi as Tatsumi is coaching a team with no foreign players. Fuwa has stated that he cannot imagine coaching a team with no foreign players and has himself hand picked three Brazilian players for Nagoya Grand Palace, believing that the Brazilians also elevated the playing style of the Japanese players around them with their skill and experience. However, Itagaki, the former lead striker and star of Nagoya Grand Palace is more frustrated than anything else by the presence of the Brazilians and, in addition, Tatsumi was able to find and exploit a weak spot in the team's defense when he realized that the Nagoya Grand Palace defenders were all taking their cues from Carlos (one of the Brazilian midfielders) and if he moved even a little up the field, the defense collapsed.

Despite showing frustrations for losing a scrimmage against last season's substitutes, led by newly appointed ETU's head coach Takeshi Tatsumi, Ishigami has never shown any frustrations at Tatsumi's coaching style, unlike fellow defenders Kazuki Kuroda and Yusaku Sugie.
