Gin Tama

坂田銀時

Gintoki Sakata (坂田 銀時, Sakata Gintoki) is the main protagonist of the Gintama series. He is the founder and president of the Yorozuya, as well as a highly skilled samurai, having fought in the Joui War in the past. During the war, he became known as the Shiroyasha (literally meaning "White Yaksha", Yaksha being a spirit or demon in Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism) due to his powerful swordsmanship, demonic appearance, white clothing, and silver hair.

神楽

Kagura (神楽, Kagura) is a member of the Yorozuya and the main female protagonist of Gintama. She is a member of the Yato Tribe, the daughter of Umibouzu and Kouka, and the younger sister of Kamui. She is one of the main protagonists of the series of Gintama.

志村新八

Shinpachi Shimura (志村 新八, Shimura Shinpachi) is a member of the Yorozuya, a samurai in training, and one of the three main protagonists of Gintama. He is one of the more normal characters of the series, delivering the requisite reality-checks or punchlines against other characters' antics. Other than working at the Yorozuya, Shinpachi is also the leader of Terakado Tsuu's fanclub: Terakado Tsuu's Imperial Guards.

神威

Kamui (神威, Kamui) is a member of the Yato Tribe. He is the son of Umibouzu and Kouka, and the elder brother of Kagura. He was a major antagonist of Yoshiwara in Flames Arc and later after his alliance with Takasugi, became for a time one of the main antagonists of the series.

定春

Sadaharu (定春 Sadaharu) is a member and a pet of the Yorozuya, but is equivalent to being their mascot. Kagura usually takes care of him, but Sakata Gintoki sometimes has to walk him, much to his dismay. He is also the savior of the earth, preventing an invasion of alien cockroaches in Episode 29.

Uchino has short, neck-length, black hair and black eyes. At work, she wears the usual light pink uniform issued to all nurses. | personality=She has been noted to be very kind all patients, always tending to them with a smile. She's also insecure when it comes to confessing her true feelings and claims it enough that she'd always remember the special person in her heart.

エナリ

Enari (エナリ Enari) is Shiramizu Pinko's son. Like his father and mother, he is based on a real-life actor, in this case Kazuki Enari. The anime reflects this by censoring out his eyes and name with a sound different to that from his father and mother.
