Glory is won over the roar of cannon fire. Peace exists simply as a time to prepare for the next battle. In a nation with superb military power, Bernd Baltzar advanced quickly through the ranks. However, his career now takes a sudden turn when he is reassigned to being the military advisor in a neighboring allied nation with little military power and a lack of civilian support of firearms. Will Major Baltzar be able to win the hearts and minds of both the soldiers and civilians in this country?

Characters
Prince August is the second son of the King of Baselland. In his childhood he respected and loved his older brother, but for some reasons, the relationship between the brothers had gone sour.
He has long, blonde hair and has a tendency to wear flashy and extravagant clothes. Most of the times he appears as a proud, arrogant crown prince who can only rely on his great aunt, the Empress of Ezreich, but this is only a mask for his more modest and insecure self.
Although he is enrolled in the Military Academy, Paul has no passion with the military career. He is neither ambitious nor brave, and easily chickens out whenever he is faced with a dangerous situation. He also has no problem with always placing second after Dieter, or with the privileges the Cavalry Division has, or even the fact that he and the rest of the Artillery Division was never allowed a shooting practice until Bernd Baltzar comes. He claims that his lifelong plan is to serve in the Military Academy for 3 years, then another 12 years in the army, and retire at 30, so that he can re-enter the government workforce as a civil servant, according to the policy of Baselland. He is also a pacifist, hoping that his country does not enter any war in the 15 years of his service. However, he does care about his friends, namely Dieter.
Thomas has curly, short brown hair. He is a bit chubbier and shorter than the other students, but this doesn't affect his performance at school.
Dieter Strunz is a 2nd year in Artillery Division, in Baselland Royal Military Academy, where Baltzar is serving as an instructor.
