Hadesu Sensei is no ordinary middle school nurse. In fact, many students believe he is a shinigami. His excessive friendliness and eagerness to win his students' affection does little to offset his terrifying appearance. MAINRokusuke Fuji (藤 麓介,Fuji Rokusuke) is a second year middle school student and classmates with Iku Ashitaba, Rentarō Mimasaka, Koyomi Motoyoshi, and Mitsuhiro Yasuda.
Ashitaba is generally the one telling the story each chapter, except for the fewer chapters when it centers on another person. He's quiet and slightly shy, but gets along with many people.
鏑木 真哉
MAINKaburagi is a middle school student, who apparently is the only memeber out of the main kids cast who isn't in the same homeroom as the others.
三途川千歳
SUPPORTINGThe mysterious principal of Tokofushi Middle School. Nothing so far is known about her past, other then the fact that she was Hades-sensei teacher when he was in middle school, and she hasn't aged since then.
