木乃ハイジ

Haiji Kino (木乃ハイジ) is the protagonist of the Under Doctor series. He comes from an assassin family but instead of taking other peoples lives he instead chose to save them and became a Doctor who uses his assassin skills to treat patients.

Chiwako is depicted as an adult woman with a slim, compact build and straight, clean proportions. Her shoulders are narrow and her frame appears light and slightly elongated. Her hair is black and straight with a smooth, glossy surface indicated by solid highlights. It falls to approximately shoulder length and is cut bluntly at the ends. The silhouette is rounded and heavy, with the bulk of the hair curving inward toward the neck. The bangs are thick and straight across the forehead, forming a near-horizontal fringe with several short, squared segments. Two longer side sections frame the face and extend past the jawline. The hair overall has minimal layering and appears dense and uniform. Her face is narrow with a small chin and soft jawline. Skin is rendered white with light screentone shadows. The nose is simplified to a short line. The mouth is small and thin with minimal lip detail. A thin, healed scar is present on the left side of her face (viewer’s right), running horizontally across the cheek from near the side of the nose toward the outer cheek; it is slightly jagged and darker than the surrounding linework. Her outfit consists of layered, semi-formal attire. She wears a long-sleeved, light-colored button-up shirt as the base layer. Over this is a dark vest with a fitted cut and a V-shaped neckline. The vest fastens down the center with small round buttons and lies flat against the torso. Around the neck is a narrow, dark ribbon or tie, secured tightly at the collar in a small knot. The tie hangs straight downward beneath the vest opening.

Shuli has an androgynous appearance. He has light brown hair and dark eyes. Initially introducing himself as a silent, formidable threat before joining the clinic, he is typically seen wearing practical clothing suitable for managing a clinic or studying—often contrasting with Haiji's messy and backwards attire.
