MAINMaou is an androgynous being in his human transformation appearing female. He/She has a light blue long hair with rose color eyes, which he/she had three of them with the third on the forehead, pointed ears and two red devil horns on each side. His/Her clothing consisted of a female school uniform.
マックス
MAINMax (マックス, Makkusu), also called Max the Hero, is one of the primary protagonists of Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero manga and anime series. He was once the heroic warrior that struck the finishing blow against the Demon Lord, though years of scandal and slacking have apparently left him a shell of his former self. With Maou's return, the Demon Lord moved in along with his assistant, Zenia, in an effort to get his old rival back into fighting shape.

SUPPORTINGZenia (ゼニア) is one of the primary protagonists of Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero manga and anime series. Zenia is the Secretary of the Demon Lord. She came to them in pursuit of the Demon Lord who had taken up residence in Max's house. She is a strong-willed, headstrong woman with no talent for magic. She has a bad drinking habit and is dangerous when drunk. Her taste in clothing is strange in many ways.

SUPPORTINGLeo (レオ, Reo) is one of the secondary characters in Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero manga and anime series. Leo is a warrior who overthrew the Demon Lord together with Max, Fred and Yulia. Several years ago, he defected from the Kingdom of Bescar and founded the Gamma Republic in the northern part of the kingdom. While trusted by his subordinates and the people, the Kingdom sees him as a terrorist conducting an illegal occupation. He is a martial fighter with a heightened sense of smell.

SUPPORTINGFred (フレッド, Fureddo) is one of the secondary characters in Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero manga and anime series. He is a priest who overthrew the Demon Lord together with Max, Leo and Yulia, and is currently the Director of the Magical Agency of the Kingdom of Bescar. As a specialist in healing and defensive magic, he has saved the heroes many times. He is a competent man, but his tendency to speak harshly is a flaw.
