Assistant (助手, Joshu) is the nameless male lead character and one of two main protagonists (alongside Sempai) of the Magical Sempai manga and anime.

斑さん

Madara (斑さん) is the president of the Chemistry Club. She is a second year student with black hair, glasses, and sharp teeth. Madara is very shy, and appears to disapprove of inappropriate behavior.

咲ちゃん

Saki (咲ちゃん) is a female transfer student with long orange hair. She has an interest in street magic, and runs the Street Performance Club. She also wants to take over Sempai's Magic Club.

正志

Masashi (まさし), also known as Ma-kun (まーくん) or Masa, is a transfer student and Saki-chan's younger brother. He and his sister join the Magic Club. Like Assistant, Ma-kun is mostly reasonable and calm. He has an interest in psychology and behavior analysis.

お姉ちゃん

Big Sister (お姉ちゃん Onee-chan), also referred to as Teacher (先生 Sensei) by Assistant and Saki, is Sempai's older sister and Assistant's homeroom teacher. Additionally, she serves as the adviser for the Magic Club.
