MAINUrushi Yaotome (八乙女 うるし, Yaotome Urushi) is a second-year high school student and senpai of Ayumu Tanaka in the shogi club. She is in love with Ayumu although she keeps denying the fact. Her favourite shogi piece is promoted pawn. She used to play shogi with her grandad so she is really good at it.
