八乙女うるし

Urushi Yaotome (八乙女 うるし, Yaotome Urushi) is a second-year high school student and senpai of Ayumu Tanaka in the shogi club. She is in love with Ayumu although she keeps denying the fact. Her favourite shogi piece is promoted pawn. She used to play shogi with her grandad so she is really good at it.

Ayumu is a young man with a short messy black hair. His expression is always serious and is usually wearing a school uniform. He has a pair of black eyes. His height is slightly tall but is pretty tall when we compare him with Urushi. His posture is always straight given that he is an athlete.

Sakurako is a short girl with long brown hair. She usually wears school sailor uniforms and pleated skirt. She has a pair of brownish eyes. Her bangs really fits in with her shy personality.

Maki has a long hair with curls at the ends. She has a pretty face and always wears a cat-like smile. Boys tend to have heartwarming feelings towards her as she gets along with everyone in the school. Despite that, she doesn't show any sign of love interests yet in the manga.

Rin has a short black hair and she always looked serious. She has a pair of black eyes. She also has a beautiful face and figure according to Urushi. She usually wears her school's sailor uniform, with black bike shorts under her skirt.
