Sorami Kanata is one of the main characters of Sora no Woto. She grew up in a rural village, presumably close to the Binnenland front. In her childhood she coincidentally encountered Princess Iliya who played the trumpet for her, which later inspired her to join the military to learn the trumpet herself. There she was assigned the 1121st Platoon stationed in Seize to train as a communication officer.

Noël Kannagi is one of the main characters of Sora no Woto. Because of her interest in science and mechanical engineering she was sent to a special academy at a very young age. There she was reportedly the best student. Following that, she was recruited into a special team of experts who helped the military develop weapons, with a focus on reviving lost technology, such as biological weapons.

フィリシア・ハイデマン

Filicia Heidemann is one of the main characters of Sora no Woto. She joined the military at a young age and was originally assigned to the 1147th platoon. During fighting that took place roughly 3 years before the story, she lost all of the members of her then platoon at the Binnenland front during the Battle of Vingt-et-un. Later she was assigned commander of the 1121st platoon and stationed in Seize.
