鏑木・Ｔ・虎徹/ ワイルドタイガー

Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (鏑木・T・虎徹), aka Wild Tiger (ワイルドタイガー) is one of the series' main protagonists and a veteran hero whose lack of regard for collateral damage when fighting crime earned him the nickname, "Crusher for Justice" from the public. He starts the series as one of the least popular heroes of Sternbild City. Kotetsu cares more about helping the people of the city than earning ratings, points, or fame; a trait his partner Barnaby Brooks Jr disapproves of.

バーナビー・ブルックス Ｊｒ．

Barnaby Brooks Jr. (バーナビー・ブルックスJr.) is a rookie hero who does not conceal his identity and the newest addition to Hero TV. Partnered with and possessing the same power as Wild Tiger, he relies more on strategy than force. He is liked by many people as he is seen as cool and handsome. He is currently the top-notch hero, with the famous title, "King of Heroes."

カリーナ・ライル/ブルーローズ

Karina Lyle (カリーナ・ライル) AKA Blue Rose (ブルーローズ), is a superhero who still attends school. She lives with her parents and makes use of her heroic feats to boost her career as a singer. She also works as a pianist and singer under her real name at Bar Number 06.

ホァン・パオリン/ドラゴンキッド

Pao-Lin Huang, also known as Dragon Kid (ドラゴンキッド, Doragon Kiddo), is a young kung fu fighter armed with a staff and able to produce lightning. Her Chinese-styled uniform includes advertising for Japanese food company Calbee and Japanese website DMM.com. Pao-Lin appears to live with her manager Natasha, who also acts as her legal guardian as her parents still live in China.

ロックバイソン

Antonio Lopez (アントニオ・ロペス, Antonio Ropesu), aka Rock Bison (ロックバイソン, Rokku Baison), is Kotetsu T. Kaburagi's best friend and fellow Veteran Hero. His bull-themed costume includes advertising for Japanese barbecue restaurant chain Gyu-Kaku.

イワン・カレリン/折紙サイクロン

Ivan Karelin (イワン・カレリン), alias Origami Cyclone (折紙サイクロン), is a hero who wears a kabuki themed ninja/samurai inspired costume. At first Ivan mostly appears in the background of photos and broadcasts to please his sponsors. As the show continues Ivan decides to be a more active hero even though he feels his powers aren't made for combat. He assists in evacuations, makes sure the citizens are safe, and actively participates in taking down criminals with his weapons and martial arts.

Keith Goodman (キース・グッドマン), alias Sky High (スカイハイ), is one of the most popular heroes in Sternbild and was "King of Heroes" for at least two years in a row before Barnaby Brooks Jr. becomes the new "King of Heroes."

Fire Emblem is a flamboyant hero with flame abilities and is equipped with a highly maneuverable race car. They are also the owner of their own sponsor company, "Helios Energy", and their costume contains advertising for FMV of Fujitsu.

Agnes Joubert (アニエス・ジュベール, Aniesu Jubēru) is the producer for Hero TV. Her top priority is to increase the show's ratings and please her boss and the sponsors, regardless of its impact on the heroes' work.
