The Metropolis Sternbild is protected by people with special abilities, the NEXT. Most of them work as the defenders of peace known as heroes, commercialized crime fighters who are promoted and rated by the media.
Among them are veteran hero Kaburagi T. Kotetsu, called Wild Tiger, and rookie Barnaby J. Brooks who's been nicknamed Bunny by his partner, much to the latter's chagrin. The unlikely pair clashes like fire and water: the nonchalant loner Tiger only wants to act as an ally of justice and skips media events as much as he can, while the straitlaced Barnaby has a more modern approach towards his job and enjoys the attention he gets as a public figure.
When a former hero known as Lunatic starts to wreck havoc and kills criminals instead of arresting them, these two have to reconcile their differences in order to fight their mysterious opponent.
An extra chapter was published on the Young Jump Battle, on October 15th, 2019.

MAINKotetsu T. Kaburagi (鏑木・T・虎徹), aka Wild Tiger (ワイルドタイガー) is one of the series' main protagonists and a veteran hero whose lack of regard for collateral damage when fighting crime earned him the nickname, "Crusher for Justice" from the public. He starts the series as one of the least popular heroes of Sternbild City. Kotetsu cares more about helping the people of the city than earning ratings, points, or fame; a trait his partner Barnaby Brooks Jr disapproves of.
バーナビー・ブルックス Ｊｒ．
MAINBarnaby Brooks Jr. (バーナビー・ブルックスJr.) is a rookie hero who does not conceal his identity and the newest addition to Hero TV. Partnered with and possessing the same power as Wild Tiger, he relies more on strategy than force. He is liked by many people as he is seen as cool and handsome. He is currently the top-notch hero, with the famous title, "King of Heroes."
