Tania (タニア, Tania) is a red dragon, she is a member of Dragon Tribe and was traveling the world challenging worthy fighters until Rein and Kanade defeated her. After befriending them, she joins the party, making her his second contractual. She's one of the main heroines of Beast Tamer series.

Kanade (カナデ, Kanade) is a talented and powerful fighter from the Cat Tribe, an immigrant from her village that went on a journey. After she meets Rein Shroud, she asks him to tame her, and he accepts, making her his first companion. She's the titular deuteragonist and one of the main heroines of Beast Tamer series.

Runa (ルナ, Runa), a Dryad from the Spirit Tribe, was sacrificed to the Shadow Knight in order to protect their village. At Sora's request, Rein helped her and her older twin sister by defeating the Shadow Knight. She along with Sora, decided to join his party, making them his third and fourth contractual.

ソラ

Sora (ソラ, Sora), a dryad from the Spirit Tribe, was given the job of protecting the forest and safeguarding the Shield of Truths. She gave the shield to Rein and others after they told her it was needed to defeat the demon lord. Noticing that she is sad, Rein asks her to tell the reason. Sora told Rein and others that her younger twin sister was captured by Shadow Knight as an offering to protect their village. Rein helped her and her sister by defeating Shadow Knight. Then, Sora and Luna decided to join his party, making them his third and fourth contractual.

Edgar Fromware (エドガー・フロムウェア, Edogā Furomuuea) was the son of the former ruler of Horizon and former mayor of Horizon until he and his father were overthrown and easily defeated by his "love rival", Rein Shroud.
