Twitter Matsui often addressed other mangaka in his author notes during the publication of Rocket de Tsukinukero in Weekly Shonen Jump. His final message when his manga was cancelled was "I hate children who don't know pain. I hate adults who have lost their hearts. I like gentle manga. Bye-bye"
