Shaman King

麻倉葉

Yoh is 13 years old at the beginning of the Shaman King series. He has neck-length dark brown hair and often wears a pair of orange headphones behind or on his ears. He normally wears his school uniform with his shirt unbuttoned, but when it gets cold, he will button up his shirt, wear a necktie and the standard school uniform jacket.

朝倉ハオ

In control of his own reincarnation, Hao chose to be reborn 500 years later in the Patch Tribe, so that he could steal the Spirit of Fire, one of the Five Grand Elemental Spirits. During the Shaman Fight of AD 1500, Hao was killed by Asakura Yohken, his descendant, and Matamune, his former Guardian Ghost.

道蓮

Tao Ren was shorter than Yoh and most of his friends but he seems to look taller when the spike of his purple hair (a hairstyle called "Tongari") is added up. He has a relatively thin yet muscular build with visible abs. Ren's eyes are usually gold, brown, or the same color as his hair color in the manga's colored pages but consistently golden yellow in the anime series.

阿弥陀丸

Amidamaru was born on January 6, 1385 in Japan. As a child, he trained to be a samurai in order to drive away bandits to protect the orphans with whom he was living. However, his katanas frequently broke because he was too poor to afford quality steel, and he refused to steal katanas from the corpses that were found scattered across the land. His friend, Mosuke, being a very skilled swordsmith, was able to make a katana using his own father's knife. After Amidamaru shed a tear in gratitude, he pretended that it was the rain and the katana was named Harusame (lit. "Spring Rain").

ファウストⅧ世

Faust VIII has a number of physical traits that make him stand out from the rest of the characters in the Shaman King series. He had blue colored lips and dark bags underneath his eyes caused by lack of sleep. Another trait of his is the bone-like tattoo around his neck. He is also noticed being extremely thin due to malnutrition as ever since Eliza's death, he barely ate any food. He told Yoh during their first fight that he eats only the minimum necessary to stay healthy. Along with his height, these characteristics lend him an intimidating presence. Another noticeable trait is the skin-like grey piece sutured onto his chest and torso. This does not appear to inconvenience him in any way but only makes him look scary. He usually wears his skeleton shaman medium in chains that would be attached to his arm and would be hidden underneath his overcoat. According to Amidamaru, Faust reeks of death.

梅宮竜之介

リゼルグ・ダイゼル

Lyserg has a very androgynous appearance, at the first meeting being mistaken for a girl by Umemiya Ryunosuke. He has light green hair and green eyes, which he inherited from his late father.

小山田まん太

Manta is the son and heir of Oyamada Mansumi, the president of the Oyamada Company. At some point after the Shaman Fight, he becomes the CEO of Oyamada Logistics and joins his father in working for Daremoine.

チョコラブ・マクダネル

He is an African American boy of average height and his hair an Afro-style. He wears an African wrap on the lower half of his body, an open white dress shirt and cloth boots as his street clothes. His battle outfit is a yellow native dress with red and green patterns and a black open vest. The dress and the accessories where all from a tribe in South America and was given to Chocolove by his master Orona.
