奥村燐

Rin Okumura (奥村 燐, Okumura Rin) is the main protagonist of the Blue Exorcist series. He is the son of Yuri Egin and Satan, the adoptive son of Shiro Fujimoto, and the elder twin brother of Yukio Okumura. When RIn was fifteen, he discovered that he and his brother were part demon, leading to Satan attacking his childhood home and possess Shiro to take Rin back to Gehenna with him. Despite being able to push Satan back, Rin was forced to awaken his powers and lost Shiro in the battle. Now aware of his heritage and armed with new demonic powers, Rin enrolled at True Cross Academy under Mephisto Pheles, desiring to become a Knight and kill his biological father.

奥村雪男

Yukio Okumura (奥村 雪男 Okumura Yukio) is the deuteragonist of the Blue Exorcist series. He is the son of Yuri Egin and Satan, the younger twin brother of Rin Okumura, and the adoptive son of Shiro Fujimoto. Initially believed to share Satan's power, Yukio was born fully human due to his frail body, with Rin inheriting all of their father's demonic traits. However, a spiritual wound from Rin at birth granted Yukio permanent awareness of demons. Under the tutelage of his adoptive father, Yukio became an Exorcist prodigy, achieving the rank of Meister in both Dragoon and Doctor classes when he was thirteen. In addition to his high school studies, Yukio teaches Anti-Demon Pharmacology at the True Cross Academy cram school, and has ironically ended up teaching Rin the ways of the Exorcists.

メフィスト・フェレス

Samael (サマエル Samaeru), better known by his alias Mephisto Pheles (メフィスト・フェレス Mefisuto Feresu) and publicly known as Johann Faust V (ヨハン·ファウスト五世 Yohan Fausuto Gosei), is one of the children of Satan, he is the second-strongest of the Eight Demon Kings holding the title of King of Time (時の王 Toki no Ō), and the older half-brother of Rin and Yukio Okumura.

Lucifer (ルシフェル Rushiferu) is one of the children of Satan, he is the strongest of the Eight Demon Kings holding the title of King of Light (光の王 Hikari no Ō), and the oldest half-brother of Rin and Yukio Okumura. He is the Commander-in-Chief of the Illuminati. Frustrated by his continued inability to maintain a host in Assiah, Lucifer created the Illuminati with the intention of merging Assiah and Gehenna into one realm.

Noriko Paku (朴 朔子 Paku Noriko) is a student of the True Cross Academy, as well as a former member of the True Cross Exorcist Cram School.

Kaoru Tsubaki (椿 薫 Tsubaki Kaoru) is the Physical Education teacher in the cram school. Often referred to as "Ol' Sideburns" by his students, he is well known to abruptly cancel and/or leave class upon receiving a call from a woman he calls "Kitten".
