Crimson Shell

Claudia (クローディア, Kurōdia), also commonly known as The Rose Witch (薔 (ば) 薇 (ら) の魔女 (まじょ) , Bara no Majo) or Dia (ディア, Dia), is the main female protagonist in Jun Mochizuki's Crimson-Shell. Unlike other Roses, Claudia is a special mutation known as The Crimson Rose, containing a unique power within her Premier Rose Seed. After having been rescued by Xeno, Claudia takes to working alongside an organization bent on ridding the world of the Black Roses, the Red Rose: Crimson-Shell Division.

シオン=リデル

Shion Liddell (シオン＝リデル, Shion Rideru) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's Crimson-Shell. He is a new member of Crimson-Shell Division of Red Rose.

Xeno (ゼノ, Zeno) was the male deuteragonist in Jun Mochizuki's one-shot manga series, Crimson-Shell. While working under Red Rose's Crimson-Shell Division, Xeno happened across Claudia and managed to pull her out of her own self-isolation. While Xeno wasn't Claudia's Thorn, he still made a promise to defend her from those who attempt to deny her existence by his own means.

ヴィルヘルム

Wilhelm (ヴィルヘルム, Viruherumu) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's Crimson-Shell. He is a member of the Red Rose: Crimson-Shell Division, as well as being the Thorn to the Crimson Rose, Claudia. When Xeno's loyalties were being questioned by Red Rose, Wilhelm remained skeptical and went as far as to pose as a traitor to the organization in order to divulge information from those who he truly suspected: Gerhardt Bathler and his assistant Victoria. In pursuit of protecting Claudia and the Premier Seed within her, Wilhelm eventually confronted Gerhardt and Victoria alongside Les, exposing their alignment with the Black Roses and ultimately killing them during their final confrontation. Unbeknownst to Wilhelm, Claudia was also being targeted by a Jet Rose, whose actions led to her falling into a coma - though Wilhelm vows to be there for her until the day that she finally awakes again.

Ruskin (ラスキン, Rasukin) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's Crimson-Shell. He is member of Red Rose: Crimson-Shell Division with an unspecified high-standing within the organization. Ruskin is the first to find Shion Liddell after Claudia during the attack on Red Rose Headquarters by the Black Roses, and introduces Shion to the concepts of Red Rose when he learns that Shion is a new inductee. Ruskin later that Xeno had betrayed Red Rose and attacked Claudia, resulting in the deaths of numerous Red Rose members - but Ruskin remains unconvinced and desperately attempts to defend Xeno despite Gerhardt Bathler providing evidence of Xeno's actions. Suspicious, Ruskin goes to speak with Wilhelm - only for Wilhelm to attack him in order to gain Victoria's trust so that he can unearth the truth. After Victoria revealed her plans, Les arrived and helped save Ruskin alongside Wilhelm - with all three of them working together to take down Victoria and Gerhardt. Unbeknownst to them, Claudia was facing her own demons, and without Ruskin, Wilhelm or Les by her side - Claudia fell into a deep sleep when she lost what she cared for the most.

Melissa (メリッサ, Merissa) is a member of Red Rose's Crimson-Shell Division, thus allowing her to have a close connection with The Crimson Rose, Claudia, herself. Often times paired with fellow members within her division, Robin Wingfield and Les, Melissa is never regarded with the same type of respect as many of her colleagues due to her young and playful demeanor. Melissa had been in the field on a mission with Robin and Les when they'd gotten wind of Xeno's betrayal of Claudia and Red Rose, prompting her to immediately abandon her mission so that she could be by Claudia's side. In Wilhelm's absence, Melissa took to guarding Claudia alongside Robin through the night after Claudia had regained consciousness. However by the next morning, Melissa went to check on Les, only to learn that Ruskin was missing and reveal that Wilhelm is missing as well - encouraging Les to piece together that this was not mere coincidence. Melissa is later seen watching over Claudia when she slips into her coma following the turmoil within Red Rose's Crimson-Shell Division caused by The Black Roses.

Les (レス, Resu) is a member of Red Rose: Crimson-Shell Division and a close friend of Robin Wingfield and Melissa. Les deserted his mission with Robin and Melissa after learning of Xeno's betrayal to Claudia and returned to Red Rose Headquarters - suggesting that Claudia trust in her heart to decide what truth she should believe. Les was meant to meet with Ruskin to try and uncover the truth behind the situation, but when Ruskin failed to show up - Les sought him out and discovered a plot laid out by the Black Roses. Alongside Wilhelm, Les is successful in eradicating the threat that the Black Roses posed, but finds that the repercussions of their actions had plunged Claudia into a coma - and so he awaits her awakening alongside the rest of Red Rose.

Robin Wingfield (ロビン=ウイングフィールド, Robin Uingufīrudo) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's Crimson-Shell. He is a member of Red Rose working under the Crimson-Shell Division in order to protect Claudia, eradicate the threat of the Black Roses and unearth The Madman's true intentions.

ヴィクトリア

Victoria (ヴィクトリア, Vikutoria) is a character from Jun Mochizuki's Crimson-Shell. She is an infiltrated Black Rose in the Red Rose Headquarters. Having been implanted with one of the Premier Rose's Seeds - Victoria and her fellow Black Roses were given extraordinary powers at the cost of needing to sap human life in order to continue their existence. With the stigma of Black Roses being considered failures by comparison to the Crimson Rose - Claudia - Victoria decided to help Shion Liddell in his plot to infiltrate Red Rose in order to extract Claudia's Premier Seed. While undercover, Victoria poses as Gerhardt Bathler's secretary, with Bathler acting as a double-agent within Red Rose. However, Victoria quickly dropped the facade, kidnapping Ruskin and attempting to convert Wilhelm into joining the Black Rose's cause. When this proves unsuccessful, it leads to Victoria's ultimate defeat, as she is mortally wounded by Wilhelm - only to reveal that she'd simply been buying Shion time to make a move against Claudia with her dying breath.
