He is a young male student with a firm belief that UFOs and aliens exist. Upon meeting [Momo Ayase](https://anilist.co/character/222594/Ayase-Momo) and taking up on her challenge to see if ghosts were real, Okarun became cursed by a yokai known as the [Turbo-Granny](https://anilist.co/character/239956/Turbo-Babaa) and seeks to return to normal.

Jin Enjouji is [Momo Ayase](https://anilist.co/character/222594/Momo-Ayase)'s childhood friend and first crush. After his parents were hospitalized as a result of his house being haunted, Enjouji moved in with Momo and [Seiko](https://anilist.co/character/234824/Seiko-Ayase) and transferred over to Momo's school. Jiji comes off as being a very hyper-active young man who likes to express himself with dramatic mannerisms and expressions. He also has a habit of usually ending his sentences with strange verbal tics and is known to be very athletic and enjoy sports, primarily soccer. Past his initial over-the-top presentation, Jiji is a good-natured guy who deeply values his friendships and is committed to protecting those close to him, striving to improve himself and act as a reliable ally in moments of danger. Despite his immaturity, Jiji demonstrates a strong sense of accountability and empathy. ~!He later gets possessed by a mountain yokai called [the Evil Eye](https://anilist.co/character/309809/Jashi). Thus, whenever he touches cold water, Evil Eye comes out, and when he touches hot water, he is himself.!~

Bamora (バモラ, Bamora Viz: Vamola) is one of the main characters in Dandadan and was the primary antagonist during the Kaiju Arc.

[Momo Ayase](https://anilist.co/character/222594/Ayase-Momo)'s grandmother. Despite being a grandmother, Seiko possesses a youthful appearance that does not match her age and is recognized as being quite beautiful.

The yokai took on the form of a very elderly woman with long white shaggy hair and eyes that were stuck looking to the sides. When possessing her targets, she has her victims transform into a mirror image of herself, albeit with a large mouth with teeth that is capable of biting off body parts. ~!After having her consciousness extracted from [Okarun](https://anilist.co/character/222593/Takakura-Ken), the Turbo-Granny is forced to inhabit a maneki-neko doll.!~

Jashi is a yokai who has spent years bound to the [Tsuchinoko](https://anilist.co/character/309811/Tsuchinoko) sacrificial house and is known for cursing humans to commit suicide with his gaze.

ぺニーチンコス

Peeny-Weeny, also known as the Dover Demon, is a Dover Demon's Race, he works for the Serpo in order to earn money for [his son's](https://anilist.co/character/270706/) blood transfusion.

太郎

Taro is an anthropomorphized anatomical model that resides at Ayase's and Takakura's school.

チキチータ

The son of the [Dover Demon](https://anilist.co/character/270705/Penny-Chinkosu), also known as the Mantisian. He needed to ingest new blood every day, but his life was saved thanks to [Seiko](https://anilist.co/character/234824/Seiko-Ayase) and crew giving them a cow. Currently lives on Earth with his father.

Rokuro is a Serpo who has been banished from his people after his alliance with Momo and her allies to stop the Kur Invasion, causing his mentality to differ from his clones. He currently works as a convenience store employee. While identical to his fellow Serpo, Rokuro is the only one among his clones who possesses eyes that makes him distinguishable. He also possesses two thick vertical scars that run down both sides of his face and across his eyes, inflicted on him after the Kur attacked the Serpo.

Rudorisu is an Alien Construction Specialist and friend of Mr. Mantis Shrimp.

Hana is an anthropomorphized anatomical model that resides with Ayase and Seiko.

Serupo Seijin are an entirely male alien race who come from Planet Serpo.

Mai Kawabanga was the childhood friend of [Rin Sawaki](https://anilist.co/character/334676/Rin-Sawaki) who had died from a car accident. Her spirit then went on to become an Onbusuman-type yokai that was bound to Rin until it was cleansed by the Family and became converted into a guardian spirit. Continuing to be by Rin's side, Mai makes it her goal to have her childhood friend become an idol.

ツチノコ

Tsuchinoko was the name of a kuragari, or Mongolian Death Worm, that had been revered by the people of Jiji's village, especially the Kito Family, as the Great Snake, believed to be the cryptid tsuchinoko.

Furattouzzu Monsutaa was an alien that was first sighted in the American town of Flatwoods.
