Sora is a young energetic boy looking forward to exploring the world with his friends, Riku and Kairi. The threesome is working hard on completing a raft that will allow them to leave their island but one day a mysterious force causes Sora to gain a special weapon known as the Keyblade. He fights some weird monsters and gets transported to a strange town. Meanwhile, Donald and Goofy leave their castle to search for the king and the chosen one who holds the "key" to saving the world. Sora is attacked again by creatures known as Heartless but is helped out by an old man named Cid and a warrior named Leon. He eventually meets up with Donald and Goofy and they join forces to go search for his friends and the King.

MAINSora is the main protagonist and main playable character in most of the Kingdom Hearts series. He is a Keyblade wielder from the Destiny Islands where he, along with his childhood friends Riku and Kairi, dreamed of venturing away to find out what lies beyond their home. Sora's primary partners are Donald and Goofy and have been on a journey to search for King Mickey throughout the franchise of Kingdom Hearts games.

MAINDonald Duck is a character from the Kingdom Hearts series. In Kingdom Hearts, Donald is the Royal Magician of Disney Castle and the royal assistant for King Mickey. As such, his weapon of choice is a Staff. He often provides comic relief more than advancing the plot despite the amount of camera time he has in the series. He is rash and has an aggressive personality, but he is loyal to his friends.

MAINGoofy appears alongside Donald and Sora in all of the Kingdom Hearts series. Goofy is Captain of the Royal Knights of King Mickey's court. He and Disney Castle's Court Magician Donald went out to search for the King, and ends up teaming with Sora for the rest of their journey.

SUPPORTINGYuffie is a supporting character, a member of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, and a close friend of Leon, Aerith, and Cid. She travels with Leon, whom she often refers to by his real name, Squall—this usually causes annoyance on Leon's part. She sometimes refers to herself as the "Great Ninja Yuffie", wielding a large Fuma Shuriken as her weapon.

His enemy is the ruthless royal vizier, Jafar. Aladdin fights with a balanced combination of strength and agility, using his scimitar to defeat his foes.
