稲葉姫子

Himeko Inaba (稲葉 姫子, Inaba Himeko) is one of the main characters of Kokoro Connect series. During the first four volumes, she is the vice president of the Student Cultural Society and a classmate of Taichi Yaegashi and Iori Nagase. She is exceptionally skilled at gathering and analyzing information, and, as a result, knows many private details about her fellow club members. Although she is calm and logical, Inaba has a difficult time handling awkward situations and does not like things to get out of her control.

永瀬伊織

Iori Nagase (永瀬 伊織, Nagase Iori) is one of the main characters of Kokoro Connect series. She is the president of the Student Cultural Society. She attends the same homeroom as Taichi and Inaba and is seen as a bright and popular individual amongst her peers. A bold and dynamic character, Iori endeavors to bring excitement and fun to the Cultural Club and later develops into the voice of reason amongst her friends, keeping peace during times of strife. Iori also lives alone with her single mother who is often out.

八重樫太一

Taichi Yaegashi (八重樫 太一, Yaegashi Taichi, Taichi Yaegashi) is one of the main characters of Kokoro Connect series. He is a member of the Student Cultural Society and the series' main male protagonist. He attends the same homeroom as Iori and Inaba and is a pro wrestling fanatic. In class, he is a fairly quiet character, always calm and inconspicuous.

桐山唯

Yui Kiriyama (桐山 唯, Kiriyama Yui) is a classmate of Aoki and a member of the Student Cultural Society. Despite her small build, she has a black belt in karate and has won many tournaments from her years in middle school. Yui has an affinity for cute things and her room is full of dolls and adorable accents. In addition, though she tries to keep it a secret, Yui suffers from androphobia.

青木義文

Yoshifumi Aoki (青木 義文, Aoki Yoshifumi) is one of the characters from Kokoro Connect series. He is a member of the Student Cultural Society and Taichi's best friend. He is a classmate of Yui, a girl whom he constantly confesses his love to. He claims to have loved Yui from the moment he saw her and does not hesitate to show it. Amongst the Student Cultural Society, Aoki can be considered the least serious due to his philosophy of always living carefree. Despite meaning well, his natural goofiness and perverted tendencies often earn him the ridicule of his fellow club members.

瀬戸内薫

Kaoru Setouchi (瀬戸内 薫, Setouchi Kaoru) is a classmate of Iori Nagase, Taichi Yaegashi and Himeko Inaba. Initially antagonistic towards Iori, Setouchi later resolves to better herself as a person and is voted Class Representative during her second year. She wants to join the student council. She plans on going to Prefecture S to study at a social science college that researches on cities and villages.

宇和千尋

Chihiro Uwa (宇和 千尋, Uwa Chihiro) is a 1st year at Yamaboshi High and a new member of the Student Cultural Society. He is initially depicted as a detached young man bored with life and looking for purpose, but gradually mellows out as he spends more time with the Cultural Club. Chihiro practices karate at the same dojo as Yui Kiriyama.
