Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari
もののがたり
There are powerful beings whose spirits dwell within old objects: tsukumogami. Hyoma is a young man who despises these evil spirits for robbing him of something precious. His mission: to use the supernatural powers granted to him to dispatch these tsukomogami back to their own world, no matter what it takes.
But when Hyoma’s grandfather sends him to live with Botan, a kind-hearted girl who peacefully shares a house with an assortment of overprotective tsukumogami, it’s more than Hyoma can bear. Can Botan help Hyoma overcome his rage, or will his thirst for vengeance lead him down a dark and violent path?

MAINBotan has been considered to be very cute by many characters in the series. She has very short blue hair held by a red hair clip and blue eyes. She wear a cream colored scarf over a red coat which consists of black buttons, light, dark brown or teal coloured skinny jeans and brown boots. She also wears a red sweater or hoodie and a white or yellow shirt.

SUPPORTINGSuzuri along with Yu were observing Hyoma as he was heading towards the Nagatsuki house. At the same time they were on a mission and sealing a tsukumogami. Moments before being sealed the tsukumogami questioned why are they hunting their own kind and they replied that they are just doing their job. As Hyoma arrived at the house, Suzuri and the rest of the tsukumogami appeared. As they spoke and Hyoma mentioned that they may be taking advantage of Botan, Suzuri and the rest got angry and Nagi attacked Hyoma and started a fight. Upon learning that Botan was coming earlier home, Haori ordered everyone to stop them fighting, and they all jumped and attacked Hyoma knocking him on the ground and thinking someone else was going to stop Nagi.

SUPPORTINGKai is a tall and athletic man with tanned skin, black eyes without eyebrows. He has a long black hair well-combed around his cranium but uncombed in the rest of it with a lock that is in the left side of his face. He wears a red shirt under a beige haori that is only worn on his left arm, and is tied with a green belt. He also wears purple-ish gray lined-pattern pants that are fastened with braces. His footwear consists in a pair of white socks under Japanese sandals with green hanaos.

Things escalated, Nagi started fighting Hyoma, but when learning that Botan was returning Haori ordered everyone to stop Hyoma and Nagi fighting. Everyone except Kushige rushed and attacked Hyoma, knocking him to the ground.
