Bisco Akaboshi

Bisco Akaboshi (赤星 ビスコ) is one of the two protagonists in the Sabikui Bisco series. Bisco, nicknamed the Man-eating Redcap, is a Mushroom Keeper who is branded an outlaw by the Japanese government with a bounty on his head for Mushroom Terrorism.

Milo Nekoyanagi

猫柳ミロ

Milo Nekoyanagi (猫柳 ミロ) is one of the two protagonists in the Sabikui Bisco series. He was a doctor who became Bisco's traveling companion.

Pawoo Nekoyanagi

猫柳パウー

Pawoo is described as a beautiful, well-endowed young woman with dark-blue eyes and long, straight black hair that reaches past her waist. Despite having rust on her left side, she is still athletic and has a well-built physique. According to Milo Nekoyanagi, she has an E-cup. After Tetsujin's death, her left side of her body was cleared by the Rust Eaters.

Jabi and Bisco Akaboshi attempt to pass the Gunma border, but as they fail, Bisco uses a king trumped mushroom to launch them over the wall. Near Imihama, they stop for the night. As Jabi's Rust is starting to reach his lungs, he knows he will be dying soon, but Bisco doesn't want to listen. They get attacked by Tirol using her Escargot fighter and Jabi uses his body to protect Bisco, getting himself heavily injured.

Kurokawa

Despite being the one who runs things, he's considered a bad simaritian. He acts kind and uses good deeds to lure the heroes into a false sense of security, before turning the tables on them for their master plan.

At Calvero Shellsand Sea, Kousuke and Bisco Akaboshi head for the same watermelon. Thinking that Bisco and Milo are kidnappers working for Kurokawa, Nuts and the children point their guns at them. Nuts doesn't believe they are travellers heading north, as the region is known for scarce water and food supplies, thus people are avoiding it. To prove they are not, Bisco ends up revealing he is wanted criminal and the children capture him to exchange him for a reward.

Kousuke sees a watermelon and heads to get it, but at the same time Bisco Akaboshi sees it too. Kousuke manages to get it first, but Bisco captures him, wanting to take it. Nuts and other children then reveal themselves and point guns at Bisco, thinking he and Milo Nekoyanagi are working for Kurokawa. To prove they are not, Bisco ends up revealing he is wanted criminal and the children capture him to exchange him for a reward.
