Nnu-Anu-Kf, later referred to as Takopi (タコピー Takopī), is the titular main protagonist of Takopi's Original Sin series. He is an alien being, a Happian originally from the Planet Happy, a world centered around spreading happiness and positive emotions. He arrives on Earth in the year 2016 as part of his mission to bring joy to others, equipped with a set of advanced tools known as "Happy Gadgets," designed to solve problems and improve people's lives.

久世しずか

Shizuka Kuze (久世 しずか Kuze Shizuka) is the deuteragonist of Takopi's Original Sin series. She is a young and quiet human girl with a withdrawn demeanor. One day, she encounters Takopi, a small, octopus-like alien creature from a distant place known as the Planet Happy.

Marina Kirarazaka (雲母坂 まりな Kirarazaka Marina) is the tritagonist of Takopi's Original Sin series. She is a schoolmate of Shizuka Kuze, harboring a burning hatred toward her, which fuels her bullying and emotional abuse of the girl at school. This animosity stems from the breakdown of Marina's family, specifically the collapse of her parents’ relationship, as her father was involved in an extramarital affair with Shizuka’s mother, an event that deeply impacted Marina’s home life and emotional well-being.

Naoki Azuma (東 直樹 Azuma Naoki) is the tritagonist of Takopi's Original Sin series. He is a classmate of Shizuka Kuze, and is portrayed as an knowledgable and empathetic boy who quickly becomes aware of the emotional and social struggles Shizuka faces, particularly her isolation and the bullying she endures. Motivated by a sense of compassion and concern, Naoki attempts to offer her support and friendship, hoping to improve her situation, even though she initially remains distant and withdrawn.

チャッピー

Chappy is Shizuka's beloved pet dog, her sole source of genuine companionship and comfort in her isolated life. Shizuka deeply treasures Chappy, believing their bond provides her with enough happiness to endure her painful circumstances.

Junya Azuma (東潤也 东润也 Azuma Junya) is a major character in Takopi's Original Sin series. He is a highly intelligent and well-regarded student, known for his academic excellence and social success among his peers. As the older brother of Naoki Azuma, he often appeared to be an ideal figure, someone Naoki admired but also felt distant from due to the pressure of living up to his achievements.
