MAINRou Shirakawa (白川 朗 Shirakawa Rō) is the main protagonist of Dogsred. He is a first year student at Oinokami High, where he plays as a winger on its Ice Hockey Team. He is a former figure skating champion who now wishes to reach the Olympics as an ice hockey player. He is the twin brother of Haruna Shirakawa with whom he lives at their grandfather's home in Tomakomai.
甲斐賢吾
MAINKengo Kai (甲斐 賢吾 Kai Kengo) is a main character in Dogsred. He is a second year student at Oinokami High and a center on its Ice Hockey team. He is a very close childhood friend of the Genma brothers, Koichi and Keiichi. He's formed a duo with the latter since elementary school.
源間慶一
SUPPORTINGKeiichi Genma (源間 慶一 Genma Keiichi) is the deuteragonist of Dogsred. He is a first year student at Oinokami High, where he plays as a center on its Ice Hockey Team. He was the captain of the Hokuryou Junior High Ice Hockey Team. He is the younger brother of Koichi Genma.
