Karneval

花礫

Gareki (花礫?) is the deuteragonist of the Karneval series. Originally, he was a leader to a band of thieves who'd rob corrupt people's mansions long before he discovered Nai at the start of the series.

Yogi is a tall young man with messy gold hair and violet eyes. He wears a white allergy patch on his left cheek, and if removed under certain circumstances it causes his hair to change to silver and his alter ego, Silver Yogi, to emerge.

ツクモ

Tsukumo is a teenage girl whose beauty is complimented by both men and women. She has long, platinum blonde hair donned in two, semi-curls with short bangs ending just below her chin and blue-purple eyes with lines on her pupils. Due to her level-headed nature, her resting expression is often that of seriousness (although it gradually loses its edge as the story progresses). Despite her small and slender form, Tsukumo is extremely adept at taking down two grown men in one fluid movement.

イヴァ

Iva (イヴァ?) is the Second Ship's Lieutenant and an older sister figure to the Second Ship crew. She often goes on solo-missions.

麒春

He is tall, and wears a white long coat with what can only be described as fuschia-and-orange furry boa over his blue undershirt. He wears a yellow half-vest that exposes his muscular stomach. He has rather messy wavy wild blue hair, and red triangles on his cheeks and nose, as well as red eyeliner (appears to be the same substance). He wears black earrings made out of tiny, connected, black triangles. He has green eyes which turn black when he changes into a Varuga.

She was presumed to have died in Kafka's experiment along with the rest of Rimhakka's population, but somehow survived (though having lost two limbs and her memories in the process). After the incident she was adopted by a couple of travelers and lived with them to act as "human puppet" in their stage performances as a source of income. After ten years however she was sold to a rich family in Reburganzee, who promised her real prosthetic limbs, and worked for them as a servant. While working, she was bullied by other servants and treated like dirt because of her prosthetic limbs. One night, after being told to collect water barefoot outside, she met Girunan, who just escaped her master's grasps.
