Having a bright and positive spirit, Sakura Laurel is an umamusume that cannot be easily discouraged. Despite having weak legs since birth and being more prone to injuries than others, she always manages to stand her ground and never give up. She has a special feeling towards her classmate Narita Brian, believing that she will one day beat her in a race.

A student brimming with youthful energy who just wants to run, run, run like crazy! She doesn't really know her own limits yet, so she has a tendency to hit them full-force, but she seems to be enjoying life on the wild side. She's a bit immature compared to the other runners her age, and she can be a bit selfish, but it's hard to fault her honest, whimsical personality.

Instead, she helps her dear ponies in her capacity as leader of Ritto Dormitory. As a runner, she hopes to captivate audiences just like her mother, a stage actress. Her ultimate stage: the Triple Crown.

A lone wolf of few words and ample strength, Narita Brian is feared throughout the academy due to both her personality and her performance on the turf. She herself has little interest in anything besides running, which she does only to quench her own endless thirst. Off the racecourse, she is Biwa Hayahide's little sister and, for some reason, a student council vice president.

マヤノトップガン

A rambunctious young genius of an Umamusume who seeks affection from everyone she meets. Having a pilot for a father, Mayano Top Gun often mixes aviation lingo into her speech. Her tendency to obsess over whatever new and exciting thing is in front of her betrays how far she is from becoming the mature, sophisticated lady of her dreams. However, she does possess incredible intuition and an almost supernatural sense of the right thing to do in any situation.

Loud and proud, she's a straightforward soul who can get along well with anyone. She loves all sports, but holds special admiration for the Japanese Derby, a race that she dreams of winning one day, no matter the cost. She, Narita Taishin, and Biwa Hayahide are inseparable.

Brimming with curiosity and the love to travel. She often plans reckless itineraries and sets off on carefree wanderings, sometimes staying away for long periods of time. Perhaps attracted by her carefree yet somewhat detached personality, she tends to be admired by the more eccentric Umamusume at the academy. According to them, she is “a mysterious person who you can't help but love.”

Marvelous Sunday has always been gifted with an exuberant excess of energy, but didn't always have a purpose to channel that energy toward when she was a young child. Everything changed however, when she learned the word "marvelous" from her grandmother. From that day on, her eyes have seen the world in one color and one color only: marvelous! She now spends her days looking for marvelous, spreading marvelous, and simply being marvelous. ☆

North Flight is Tracen Academy's resident fashionista, an umamusume who loves dressing up in everything and everything! She sticks by the motto that "Any material can shine depending on what it looks like and how it's worn", something that she has experimented with based on her own experience and body size. "Fu-chan's Fashion Advice" is very popular among the school's umamusume.
