Originally hailing from the countryside, she enrolled in Tracen Academy after dominating the racing scene back home. She works hard to make her hometown proud, but try as she might, her clumsy side always comes out. At the academy, she's known as a fearsome gourmand, able to empty an entire pot of rice in the blink of an eye.

A small girl with an unmistakable Kansai dialect. Despite her size, she's a bundle of energy and is always ready for action, be it in a race or in everyday life. She grew up in a less fortunate environment, but her power comes from her persistent spirit—you won't find much getting her down. She and the effortlessly funny Oguri Cap make for a good comedic duo.

ベルノライト

Belno Light is introduced as a student who enrolls at Kasamatsu Tracen Academy, the same year as Oguri Cap. Shy, she makes an effort to befriend Oguri. She's not a talented runner, but when Oguri is scouted by the trainer Jou Kitahara, Oguri and Kitahara both encourage her to join his team, as well.

ノルンエース

Norn Ace harbors a jealous streak and an inferiority complex due to her own acknowledgement of her lack of talent. She is known for being fast in her hometown, but is aware that she isn’t good enough to win against more talented umamusume like Fujimasa March and Oguri Cap, her assigned roommate at Kasamatsu Tracen Academy. Her jealousy of Oguri Cap’s talent is one of the reasons why she initially bullies her, teaming up with Rudy Lemono and Mini The Lady, but all of her efforts to bully Oguri fall completely flat, as Oguri at no point realizes Norn and the others are trying to torment her.

ミスターシービー

A living legend and lover of the sense of freedom races bring her. Her ability to march to the beat of her own drum with unwavering confidence attracts others to her. Yet behind that free-spirited nature hides a stubbornness that prevents her from doing anything she doesn't believe in-in which case, she may be more awkward than most.

エラズリープライド

Ellerslie Pride is an umamusume with light blue hair worn long with a red ribbon at the back of her head, as well as an ear ornament around her right ear. She also has a vertical scar across her left cheek. Her racing attire is a simple dark dress with white frills along the skirt hem and a white belt, with matching arm sleeves.

赤坂美聡

Akasaka is a commentator for the umamusume races in the Twinkle Series in the anime and in the manga. She is frequently shown observing races from a commentator's booth, alongside fellow commentators such as Junko Hosoe and Yutaka Take.

クラフトユニヴァ

Kraft Univer has long and glossy black hair that reaches all the way down to her upper leg, the hair is loose for the most part and at the front, she has straight blunt bangs which cover her left eye and go down to her nose level. Her right ear is covered with white and blue striped fabric and the frontal region of her head over her hair is covered with a matching blue zigzag stitched band with white frilled edges. She's 158 cm tall, has chestnut brown eyes in the anime (blue eyes in the manga) and beige skin featuring freckles over her nose and cheeks.

アキツテイオー

Akitsu Teio is a tall, powerful umamusume who wears her brown hair in a long ponytail with six large, golden hairpins. Her racing attire consists of traditional Japanese clothing including hakama pants, tabi socks and sandals, and an outer kimono layer she wears open and draped over her shoulders, with a chest-wrap bandage wrapped across her bust.
