呂蒙子明

Shimei Ryomou is one of Nanyo's big four, ranking in at least second strongest right behind Saji. She has been best friends with Teifu and Saji long before the start of the series.

孫策伯符

Hakufu Sonsaku (孫策伯符 Sonsaku Hakufu) is the main female protagonist of the series, a cheerful brawler who loves to fight—especially against stronger opponents. She received intense martial arts training from her mother and was also trained in tea ceremonies and flower arrangements. She is the cousin of Koukin Shuuyu, the (half?) sister of Sonken Chūbō, and the daughter of Goei and Bundai Sonken.

Ryuubi Gentoku is the leader of Seito Private School. She appears to be an unskilled Toushi in most respects, with poor fighting ability, and she is not particularly intelligent; she often shows little care for—or perhaps little understanding of—her role as a leader, although she remains generally popular among the other Toushi.

周瑜公瑾

Koukin Shuuyu is Hakufu's cousin and childhood friend who vows to serve and protect her at all times, even if it costs his own life. He also has a crush on her.

曹操孟徳

Moutoku Sousou was a common fighter who was bullied as a child. He and Chuukou Kyocho went to the same dojo, where Kyocho stood up for him; one day, when Sousou came to the dojo, he found the other male students molesting Kyocho for being a tomboy and standing up for him. This triggered Sousou's first dragon awakening, ending with him killing the rest of the students. At some point, Sousou also killed Bunyaku Kansui, which caused Mouki Bachou to seek vengeance against him.

胡車兒

Koshaji was a young girl with short white hair, and is seen wearing the Yoshu private school uniform, which consists of a gray vest, white collared shirt underneath, black and gray skirt with white panties underneath, knee high socks, and a pair of brown loafers. She also has a red, cross-shaped tattoo on the bottom of her left eye.

Chinkyuu had brown hair and green eyes. She was usually seen wearing her student uniform, consisting of a red blazer, a red skirt, and knee-high socks.

Shigen Houtou is a B-ranked fighter and a spy for Seito currently posing as Shiyoku Shokan (蔣幹 子翼, Shōkan Shiyoku), a Kyosho student. She is an expert at using medical needles and was one of three girls who seduced Koukin in an attempt to make him defect to Sousou's side; she gave him "extra attention" afterwards to ensure he would not escape (nothing really happened).
