金色の闇

Konjiki no Yami (金色の闇, Golden Darkness), real name Eve, and mostly referred to by other characters as Yami, is a major character in To LOVE-Ru and To LOVE-Ru Darkness. She is a lonely assassin who is initially hired by Lacospo, one of Lala's arranged suitors, to kill Yuuki Rito. But when Lacospo effectively annuls the job, she decides to take her time and, under the pretense of still needing to complete her mission to kill Rito, stays on Earth. As she spends more time on Earth, she builds a very strong relationship with Rito's mature younger sister, Yuuki Mikan and to Rito himself, whom she also develops feelings for.

Yūki Mikan is Rito's independent and reliable 12-year-old sister. Mikan takes care of most of the household work while their parents are away working and also watches over Celine. In contrast to her brother, she is very mature and does not hesitate to tease him, going as far as lying that they aren't blood-related, but quickly retracting the statement and telling the truth. Mikan also seems to have a certain lack of respect for Rito because of this (hardly ever addresses him by honorific as an older brother), but does answer him "Onii-Chan" as thanks for trying so hard to take care of her when she develops a fever and when he gives her a Christmas present.

Kurosaki Mea is a character from To-Love-Ru Darkness. She is sent to Earth to bring back the "old" Yami. It is revealed that she is Yami's younger sister as she was created by the same organization and from the same project (Project Eve) as her. At first she is found alone staring out the window until she meets Nana and becomes friends with her. She now views others as friends. It appears that she has sexual and emotional, feelings towards Rito, although she tends to use them in a playful, teasing way around him.

Yūki Rito is the main male protagonist of the To Love-Ru series, and its sequel, To Love-Ru Darkness. He is a normal 16-year-old student of Sainan High, who has a big crush on Sairenji Haruna, to whom he attempted numerous times to confess to but has met failure each time. It was only by accident that he met Lala Satalin Deviluke, an alien princess he accidentally became engaged to.

Run Elsie Jewelria is a childhood friend of Lala and the female form of Ren Elsie Jewelria. As Run and Ren are royalty from planet Memorze, they can change gender in mind and body upon triggering a specific stimulus; in their case, a sneeze. Ren hates Rito, especially after he accidentally kissed him, but Run fell in love with Rito because of that kiss, which caused Ren to further dislike Rito.
