Yowamushi Pedal

小野田坂道

Sakamichi Onoda is a third-year student at the Sohoku High School and a member of the Sohoku High Bicycle Racing Club, serving as the main protagonist of the Yowamushi Pedal series. During the storyline's third year, after all his achievements for the team, he becomes the captain of the club. Sakamichi is also an anime otaku, his favorite anime being Love Hime. He is known to sing the Love Hime Theme Song while climbing. It is Sakamichi's eagerness to obtain anime goods from Akihabara that drove him to save money on subway fare by biking to Akihabara for free, causing him to develop the strength needed to become a competitive cyclist.

Shoukichi Naruko is a third-year student at Sohoku High School and a member of the Sohoku High Bicycle Racing Club. He is a sprinter cyclist from Osaka, known as "Naniwa's Speed Man" or "Speedster of Naniwa".

Shunsuke Imaizumi is a third-year student at Sohoku High School and a member of the Sohoku High Bicycle Racing Club. He has been cycling competitively since middle school. Shunsuke is an all-rounder who uses his sharp, logical thinking to strategize in races, though he becomes quite hot-blooded when driven into a corner. His dream is to become the fastest cyclist in the world.

Shingo Kinjou is a second-year student at Yonan University and a member of the Yonan University Bicycle Racing Club. During his high school he was a member of the Sohoku High Bicycle Racing Club, serving as its ace and captain during the storyline's first year.

Komari Kishigami is a second-year student at Kyoto Fushimi High School and a member of the Kyoto Fushimi High Bicycle Racing Club, serving as a regular member since his first year. He joined the school after meeting Akira Midousuzi during his middle school years.

Koutarou Ishigaki is a second-year student at Meiso University and a member of the Meiso University Bicycle Racing Club.
